Symas OpenLDAP 2.5 RHEL8 Previous LTS

Please be sure and read the relevant upgrade instructions if this is not a new installation.

To install Symas OpenLDAP 2.5 on RHEL8:

All commands to be run as the root user.

1. wget -q https://repo.symas.com/configs/SOLDAP/rhel8/release25.repo -O /etc/yum.repos.d/soldap-release25.repo
2. dnf update
3. dnf install symas-openldap-clients symas-openldap-servers
4. Configure OpenLDAP
5. Review systemd configuration
6. systemctl start slapd
